  1. I tried Outlander once and just couldn’t get into it, which was weird because I love Scotland so much. Yes Please was pretty good as an audiobook because Amy Poehler actually reads it. I don’t plan on reading We Were Liars either.
    My TTT!

    • I wanted to read Outlander originally but as I was looking through my ‘TBR’ on goodreads today, I saw it and thought ‘nah, I kinda have no interest in a scottish, time travel, romance novel’.
The hype of Amy Poehler seems to only have spread to Canada/America. No one knows who she is anywhere else in the world, especially as Park&Rec isn’t available on Netflix outside US/Canada and so I have no interest in reading her book.
Ugh, We Were Liars, straight away when I heard the premise I was like ‘this is gunna be crap cos my expectations on the mystery will be so high’ so I ain’t even gunna attempt it, especially seen as I got told the ‘reveal’ and it was shit. Excuse my french.

  2. I did not like We Were Liars at all! It was just not for me.
I have Alienated and I do want to read that. Hopefully soon!
Shadow and Bone was the book chosen for the book club I am in this month, so I will eventually be reading that soon.

      • They’re stand alones but because Ready Player One was his first book and (from what I gather from reviews of RPO) they both seem to be SF and in a similar writing style and are very geeky-reference based, I feel I should’ve read them in order regardless xD I guess it’s just my OCD again haha
