Quickie Review: 3/5 Stars on Goodreads.

As it was only a 45 page story, the review will also be 45 pages short. This seriously felt like reading an episode of Supernatural! What with the modern setting and investigation and supernatural creatures being involved. The setting was perfect, the characters were pretty self-explanatory [no need to have developed characters for this type of story] and the theme of the story allowed it to not be character based but plot and crime-solving based. Fast-paced. The nice hint of saucy romance was just right and welcomed! I rather enjoyed it. I really liked the little twist we get as to whether a certain person is telling the truth or not. Overall, a quick and enjoyable read with a some naughtiness to make it all the more ‘real’ (I guess) and fun!
